My friend Robert did more to help preserve Hollywood landmarks than anyone else in the city's history. Without him, we might have lost the Cinerama Dome, The El Capitan Theater, scores of historic buildings and artifacts dating back to the silent film era. The loss to his friends is inconsolable. The loss to Hollywod is immeasurable.
